Our Pipeline Model
Breeding Rams
Genetically selected sires chosen for frame, growth rate, and breed purity. Rams are isolated in dedicated pens and rotated to prevent inbreeding. Health-screened before every breeding cycle.
Ewe Flock
Healthy, vaccinated breeding ewes maintained at optimal Body Condition Score (BCS 3.0–3.5). Each ewe's reproductive history, vaccination record, and FAMACHA score is digitally tracked. Flushing protocols applied pre-breeding to maximise conception rates.
Lambing
Controlled lambing in dedicated lambing pens with dystocia management protocols. Every newborn receives colostrum within the first 6 hours. Navels are dipped, birth weights recorded, and dam-lamb bonding monitored by on-shift shepherds.
Nursery & Grow-out
Weaned lambs moved to the nursery section for weight tracking (Average Daily Gain / ADG targets), creep feeding, and gradual transition to adult rations. Lambs are dewormed on a scheduled anthelmintic rotation programme. Market-ready animals are offered to buyers with full health documentation.

We combine generations of Punjabi farming knowledge with modern livestock science — biosecurity zoning adapted from Punjab LDDD guidelines, digital record-keeping via iLivestock, and a structured pipeline model that eliminates seasonal guesswork and delivers consistent quality year-round. Biosecurity First
Every animal entering Seven Pastures passes through a mandatory quarantine period in our dedicated isolation zone before joining the main flock. Our Phase 2 compound is designed with unidirectional animal flow — livestock move in one direction through biosecurity gates, preventing cross-contamination between sections. The facility includes separate quarantine pens, a sick bay for treatment isolation, ram isolation pens, a veterinary clinic area, and footbath stations at every transition point. Internal service roads separate the three functional sections of the compound (breeding, lambing/nursery, and grow-out) so staff and vehicles do not carry pathogens between zones. These protocols are aligned with Punjab Livestock and Dairy Development Department (LDDD) biosecurity guidelines.
Pipeline Farming Model
Unlike seasonal or opportunistic farming, Seven Pastures operates a continuous four-stage pipeline: Breeding Rams → Ewe Flock → Lambing → Nursery & Grow-out. This structure means we always have animals at different stages of production. Buyers don't have to wait for a particular season — breeding stock, fattened lambs, and replacement ewes are available throughout the year. Each stage has documented standard operating procedures (SOPs), dedicated pen space, and assigned staff. The pipeline model also enables better financial forecasting because revenue is distributed across the year rather than concentrated around Eid or seasonal peaks.
Digital Health Records
Every animal at Seven Pastures is individually tracked from birth to sale using our digital record-keeping system (iLivestock). Records include: vaccination history (PPR, Enterotoxaemia, FMD, and seasonal boosters per LDDD schedule), FAMACHA eye-colour scoring for anaemia detection, Body Condition Scoring (BCS) at regular intervals, weight recordings with calculated Average Daily Gain (ADG), Faecal Egg Count (FEC) results in eggs per gram (EPG) to monitor internal parasite load, quarantine entry and exit dates, and any treatments or medications administered. Buyers can request a complete health summary for any animal they purchase. This level of documentation is rare in Pakistan's sheep farming sector and is a core part of what makes Seven Pastures different.

Our flock is selected for meat quality, hardiness, reproductive reliability, and buyer demand — particularly during Eid ul-Adha and for breeding stock sales.
Breeding Rams
Our sires are selected for frame size, growth rate, fleece quality, and temperament. Rams are isolated in dedicated pens and rotated to prevent inbreeding, and are health-screened before every breeding cycle. We choose breeding stock for the commercial traits that matter most to buyers — weight gain, hardiness, and market demand.
Breeding Ewes
Our ewe flock is maintained at optimal Body Condition Score (BCS 3.0–3.5) with digitally tracked reproductive history, vaccination records, and FAMACHA scores. They are docile, easy to manage in large flocks, and reliable twinners under proper nutrition. Selected for body conformation, reproductive performance, and parasite resistance.
